1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Chattogram City App ("App," "Service"), you ("User," "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Chattogram City App is a city information directory and community platform for Chattogram (Chittagong), Bangladesh. The App provides:

• Listings for local businesses, services, and professionals (hospitals, restaurants, hotels, doctors, lawyers, etc.)
• Job postings and employment opportunities in Chattogram
• Transport information (bus schedules, train schedules, private transport)
• Emergency service information (ambulance, police, fire station)
• Community-submitted content including blood donor listings and house rentals
• Entertainment content including local video content via YouTube
• News and announcements related to Chattogram

The App serves as an information platform only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted listings and do not directly provide the services listed in the directory.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Registration

To submit listings or access certain features, you must register for an account using a valid Bangladeshi phone number. You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) for verification.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• One person may maintain only one account. Multiple accounts are not permitted.

3.3 Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@chattogramcity.online. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention after deletion.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Paid Features

Certain features of the App — such as submitting business listings, job postings, and transport listings — may require a paid subscription. Free features include browsing all published listings.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through UddoktaPay, a Bangladesh-based payment gateway. We accept mobile banking (bKash, Nagad, Rocket) and other methods supported by UddoktaPay. By making a payment, you also agree to UddoktaPay's terms and conditions.

4.3 Subscription Terms

• Subscription plans and pricing are displayed within the App and are subject to change with notice.
• Subscriptions are valid for the period specified at purchase (e.g., 30 days, 90 days).
• Subscriptions do not automatically renew unless explicitly stated.

4.4 Refund Policy

Payments are generally non-refundable once a subscription is activated. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis for technical failures attributable to our platform. Contact support@chattogramcity.online within 7 days of purchase for refund inquiries.

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1 Content You Submit

By submitting listings, photos, or other content to the App, you represent that:

• The information is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
• You have the right to submit the content (including any photos).
• The content does not infringe any third-party rights.

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your submitted content within the App.

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or information.
• Post spam, advertisements unrelated to the listing category, or duplicate listings.
• Upload content that is obscene, defamatory, harassing, or illegal under Bangladesh law.
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App's functionality.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Impersonate any person, business, or entity.
• Collect or harvest other users' data from the App.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

6. Intellectual Property

The Chattogram City App, including its design, logo, code, features, and content created by us, is owned by the App developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our App without written permission.
• The "Chattogram City App" name and logo are our property and may not be used without permission.
• User-submitted content remains the property of the respective user, subject to the license granted in Section 5.

7. Disclaimers and Accuracy of Information

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing or information in the App.
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services listed by third parties.
• Emergency services information (ambulance, hospital, police) should always be verified through official channels in a real emergency.
• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
• We shall not be liable for any loss of data, business, or profits resulting from your reliance on App content.
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 3 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for damages caused by third-party services linked from the App (UddoktaPay, YouTube, etc.).

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if:

• You violate these Terms and Conditions.
• You submit false or fraudulent information.
• Your activity is harmful to other users or the App.
• Required by applicable law.

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting deletion (see Section 3.3).

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

• Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chattogram, Bangladesh.

11. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Updates: We may update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
